Partially underground cellar door for Hunter Valley wine maker, David Hook. Features a recycled brick vaulted interior and corten steel foyer. The simple building needed to create a unique interior environment resulting in a cool below ground brick vaulted cellar ,while above ground a strong visual marker to define its location while pouring natural light down the 10 metre tower into the cellar door via mirrors.
